Bringing art to spaces is an exciting process that One Studio cherishes deeply. The design and execution of this reception atrium for a building housing some of the leading companies in the city presented a compelling challenge. Our approach reimagined the space, infusing it with a harmonious blend of form and function.

The atrium features a striking parametric partition that serves as the identity of the design. This fluid structure, crafted from light-colored wood, creates a dynamic visual rhythm, guiding visitors from the entrance to the various sections of the building. The curvature of the partition, combined with the linear lighting integrated within, offers a warm and inviting atmosphere.

At the heart of the reception area, a sleek counter made of polished stone stands as a focal point. Above it, a custom-designed light fixture, featuring a series of globes arranged in a linear fashion, illuminates the space, adding a touch of modern elegance. The backlit signage board, displaying floor directories, integrates seamlessly with the overall design, ensuring clarity and ease of navigation.

Adjacent to the reception, a series of wooden alcoves provide additional lighting and display niches. These niches, softly lit, create a visually engaging backdrop and offer opportunities to showcase art or informational displays. The use of warm wood tones throughout the space enhances the welcoming feel, while the high ceilings and open layout contribute to a sense of grandeur and openness.
